Wings Bookstore presents a LIVE concert with Douglas Blue Feather at 5 pm on February 12th! Douglas Blue Feather, Cherokee heritage, is an internationally known songwriter and performer of both traditional and contemporary music featuring the Native American flute. He is a multi music award winner, including the Native American Music Awards “Flutist of the Year”. Considered as one of the most prolific flutists of today, he has released fourteen CDs which have been heard on radio stations worldwide. Suggested Love Offering: $15 at the door.

YFM Children’s Lock-in

Youth & Family Ministry (YFM) is sponsoring a Lock-In for any children who are 10 years of age and younger. We will have special entertainment (for all kids whether spending the night or not) on the 17th (Friday) after a potluck dinner. We will then provide a sleep over for those children who are old enough to sleep away from home by themselves or with their parents if still too young. Join us once a month, February 22, March 7 & April 5 from 6:30 – 8 pm as we discover how to end power struggles, help a challenging child using optimistic parenting tools, discuss common childhood mental health issues and get answers to your most challenging parenting questions. Each month will present a different speaker that specializes in these areas, and February 22 will be Ms. Lucie Malinski, who will answer any of your most challenging parenting issues. Ms. Malinski has over 30 years experience in early Childhood Education and is a consultant at Directions for Mental Health. She will answer any of your most challenging parenting issues.
