We choose to worship God and to celebrate our Oneness with Spirit and each other through joyful, inspirational music. We are committed to excellence, harmony and love in our rehearsals and performances.

Music We encourage variety, excellence and heartfelt expression of Spirit in the music presented at our Sunday services. Our congregation is blessed to have many of our own musicians, and we also enjoy the talents of guest musicians. Creative Arts Director Laura Watts oversees the Music Ministry, which includes a 35-member adult choir, a 5-member band, various vocal groups, soloists and instrumentalists, including children. Garry Miller directs the adult choir, which sings once a month September through June. The choir rehearses weekly during that time on Thursdays from 7–9 p.m. The choir also participates in some holiday and special services. Anyone is welcome to sing in the choir; for more information, please contact Garry at choir@firstunity.org. |

Audio-Visual Team Our volunteer audio-visual team makes our Sunday services and special events sound wonderful. First Unity Church features a fully-equipped, high-quality sound and multi-media system, and our dedicated techs receive continual. Drama & Dance Our Drama Team and Dance Team members occasionally contribute to the Sunday services with skits and interpretive dances. If you are interested in sharing your talents in this way, please contact Laura Watts at music@firstunity.org.
Photography The Creative Arts Ministry occasionally creates a slide show to support the minister’s message during a Sunday service, and photos based on specific themes are needed. If you are a step (or two!) beyond amateur in your photography skills and would like to donate your photos from time to time, please contact Laura Watts at music@firstunity.org.
