Expand mind, body and spirit! Our Spiritual Education Program offers various ongoing classes, workshops and support groups.

Each class has a suggested love offering given as a guideline; please give as you are guided. Each teacher, the church, and this program is supported through your generous love offerings. Payment for classes can be made in advance online after registration, or at the door. Cash, check and credit cards accepted. Registration for classes is greatly appreciated.

Emotional Freedom Technique/Meridian Tapping

Saturdays, March 6, March 20 and April 10, 2 to 4 pm
Suggested donation: $10 per class
 
The daily hands-on practice of EFT and meridian tapping will empower you with a quick and efficient way to release current and past hurtful thought patterns. Open up to new and constructive ways of expressing yourself, support your meditation practice and enhance your ability to listen within! Please bring to each class, ample drinking water, and pen and paper.

Enneagram, Spirituality, Relationships

Facilitator: Peter Thibado
Mondays, March 8 - April 26, 6 to 7 pm
Location: Friendship Hall
 
This experience offers insight into your personality traits and desires. Learn from Peter Thibado, Enneagram Consultant more about how we appear to others with this wisdom and heal those parts of ourselves that keep us blocked from attaining wholeness in ourselves and our relationships. This knowledge allows one to better understand day to day patterns of behavior. With this awareness, growth and healing are available. The Seven Promises

Facilitator: Jeff Belyea
Wednesdays, March 10 – April 4, 7 to 8 pm

Suggested love offering: $15 per class

This 6-week lecture class will take you on a journey along the mystic path as Jeff Belyea, PhD offers his unique perspective on the hidden meaning in the letters to the seven angels of the seven churches, and The Seven Promises to be found in the Book of Revelation. 
 

 

A Time to Heal

Facilitator: Sheila Kaye
Thursday, March 11, 7 to 8 pm
Suggested love offering: $20
 
This group is your opportunity to share, process, and receive support as if you are traversing difficult situations in life, i.e., divorce, job loss, death, survivor guilt, etc. Walking the journey alone is difficult, the touch of spirit ignites when we come together. This processing group will meet on the second Thursday of each month, and is facilitated by Sheila Kaye, LCSW, spiritual counselor.

ChildcareFirst Unity recognizes the value in providing childcare during classes, events and programs at the church. To do so in a way that supports our commitment to wise stewardship of our shared resources, it is important that everyone understand our childcare practices.

Reservations for childcare ($5/child, $10/per family) must be made seven working days prior to the class/event by contacting Dianna Collins at 527-2222 x107.To provide childcare, there must be reservations for a minimum of four children.
