JOHN OF GOD TRIP

Casa Dom Inacio, Abadiana Brasil - May 8-22, 2010

Sponsored by: First Unity of St. Petersburg , in association with The Soul Currency Institute

Rev. Ernest D. Chu & Rev. Temple Hayes This 14 day spiritual adventure is an opportunity to journey to Casa Dom Inacio located in the Central Brazilian highlands, to be with world famous Medium Joao de Deus (“John of God) most recently featured on the Discovery Channel and ABC Prime Time. The trip will led by Rev. Ernest Chu, and Brazilian medium and translator Gary Walker, both beloved “sons” of the Casa Dom Inacio, and First Unity’s own Rev. Temple Hayes. Two weeks with Medium Joao has been described by some as a combination of the unconditional love of Mother Teresa, the healing miracles of Jesus and the deep commitment to service of Albert Schweitzer. This is experience is like no other, writes Unity minister, Edwene Gaines. Spiritual masters like Ram Dass, Father Ron Roth, and Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, are but a few of the many spiritual teachers who deepen their relationship with God and are supported by the compassionate spirits of Abadiania.

John of God as he is often called has been working with the compassionate spirits for more than 55 years. During this time, it is estimated that he has worked with more than 8-10 million people worldwide, and has become one of Brazil’s greatest national treasures, working with millions of the poorest of the poor, farmers, laborers and foreign visitors from virtually every country alike. Awarded the national medal of honor by the President of Peru for his work in ending their devastating cholera epidemic, he insists that “It is not I that does the healing, I am just the instrument of God.” CALL Rev. Abadiania, Brazil is like no other place on earth. It is a combination of the healing miracle energy of Lourdes, the loving community of a Findhorn, and the magic and metaphysics of cleansing waterfalls, and healing spirits. Nearly every day the Casa is in session, the very sick find wholeness again, the crippled often discard their crutches, and the spiritually restless find peace, meaning, and the experience of God at a depth they have never before experienced.

From the time you make up your mind to go, you are answering a call of your own divine restlessness within. Rev. Ernest Chu, who had an inoperable tumor on his spine removed in Nov. 2002, observed after his first trip, “God seeps into you, more deeply than if you went to church every day for 10 years. You are immersed with compassionate spirits, meet like minded people from all over the world, and experience the feelings of deep peace and clarity. Casa Dom Inacio is a place of divine magic, of manifesting, of life changing insights, and deep physical and spiritual healing.”

Join us for two weeks of a life time as you flow into your divine appointment of fun, love, and connection. Savor the blessed water, the transforming waters of the sacred waterfall, the deep soul attunement of the crystal beds, and peace Casa Dom Inacio is an adventure not only in faith, but boldly stepping out into the newness of Spirit and the richness and diversity of the Brazilian culture. When you are there, you are reminded of the words:
“Welcome home…we have been waiting for you.”

  • We have carefully chosen the best and most convenient places to stay, have special dining facilities for our group, travel in air conditioned motor coaches, and have special taxis available for those wishing to make side trips.
We have an ongoing spiritual, educational nightly program. We assist in conducting Sunday interfaith services.
  • We offer special unusual side trips. Although we can not confirm this now, in the past we have been invited to Medium Joao’s farm for lunch. In the past we have arranged private meeting time with Medium Joao, and photo opportunities with he and others at the Casa.
