Super Bowl Party!

First Unity has an awesome party in store for Super Bowl 46 that you will definitely want to attend! Prior to kick off at 6:30 pm, we will have a chili cook-off (both meat and vegetarian) and during the game will be raffles for a wide variety of prizes. Better yet, we'll be raffling off not one - but two - flat screen TV's! Purchase your raffle tickets in Friendship Hall. Only 100 tickets will be sold, so your chances to win are high. One winner will be announced at half time, the other at the end of the game. Even if you're not a football fan, this social event is always a blast!

Snacks and soft drinks will be available at the party, but you may bring your own beverage of choice.
Movie Encore "Thrive"

Douglas Blue Feather - LIVE in Concert!

Wings Bookstore presents a LIVE concert with Douglas Blue Feather at 5 pm on February 12th! Douglas Blue Feather, Cherokee heritage, is an internationally known songwriter and performer of both traditional and contemporary music featuring the Native American flute. He is a multi music award winner, including the Native American Music Awards “Flutist of the Year”. Considered as one of the most prolific flutists of today, he has released fourteen CDs which have been heard on radio stations worldwide. Suggested Love Offering: $15 at the door.
Douglas Blue Feather will also be appearing as a guest musician at the First Unity Sunday services on February 12th (9:30 and 11:30 am).
The highlights of Douglas Blue Feather's career include over seventeen nominations for the Native American Music Awards and four wins including “Flutist Of The Year” and “Best New Age CD”. Other awards include winning the 2010 Indian Summer Music Award for “Best Native American Flute” CD and the 2009 Coalition Of Visionary Resources Music Award for “Best New Age CD”. Blue Feather has also been featured on the Grammy nominated CD, Faces Of The Sun, by Peter Kater.
