Fair Trade is Unity in Action!
First Unity's bookstore, Wings Bookstore, is located on the east end of our campus and is a hub of activity and events all year round. When you shop at Wings, not only are you supporting a local, independent bookstore, you also support Unity.
Now featuring Fair Trade items from all over the globe, Wings is proud to be St Pete's place to "Shop Local, Act Global." Because when you purchase any Fair Trade items, you are guaranteeing that farmers and artisans from all over the world are being paid a fair wage - creating sustainable living environments and helping to see poverty come to an end.
We love this video about one company who reaches out to churches to illustrate how just one purchase can make a difference in the lives of others who are a part of our one world and one economy.
